wanted to add our original 10.2.0.3 database to srvctl apparently this is not possible nor supported in 11.2.0.3
after executing

srvctl add database -d V10 -o /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1 -n P10
“
got following fine error …

PRCD-1245 : Addition of database version 11.2.0.3.0 is not allowed using srvctl version 10.2.0.0.0

the error is a bit misleading since the db i was trying to add is certainly a 10.2.0.3 …
anyway further reading showed that this is not supported ….
